Our name is heavily inspired by the Filipino sun symbol. Its eight rays and three stars represent our liberty and our people coming together to fight for it.
In crafting our art, our mission is to inspire and instill a deep sense of pride in our roots. Our creations serve as a reminder to embrace our identity unapologetically. We welcome anyone to confidently wear or showcase our pieces. Let each piece celebrate who you are.

Hello! My name is Alexsandra and I’m the proud owner of Eight Rays. I was born in Manila, Philippines and now live in California! Art has always been there for me during my lowest times, and I’m finally embracing it by sharing my creations to the world. I started Eight Rays in Long Beach during COVID restrictions. As a way to pass time, I fully embraced my artistic capabilities and decided to share what I had to offer with music, my paintings, and creating wearable art. I own three beautiful cats and I’m blessed with my loving significant other, Jesse.
My art is heavily inspired by my culture and folklore as well as the youth culture and music of Manila, hence the two lines that seemingly clash with each other’s styles. I embrace any and all people to wear my art and I hope it brings you confidence and enjoy wearing it as much as I did making it all.
